Building Block: Business Type, Mission or Vision Statement
This building block should take you 2-3 blocks to complete
Goal of task: To establish your group’s business type, draft a Mission or Vision Statement, and decide on a working business name to be included in your business plan.
1) What type of business will you and your partners develop? Why and how will you ensure this?
- Use the following links to explore different business types (For-Profit, For-Profit B-Corp, and Non-Profit) and determine the direction your group wishes to go. Once you have discussed each option with your business partners, create a document and draft a response to the above questions. Be sure to take notes and utilize all resources before making a decision.
